In the five years of the action “360 minutes for Baikal” from the shores of the lake took out 140 trucks garbage
Annual all-Russian action of En+ Group “360 minutes for Baikal” this year will be held for the fifth time. In honor of the anniversary, the organizers decided to hold it in the form of eco-marathon, which consists of five environmental activities. On the same day, 50 employees the EuroSibEnergo removed debris from another point on the coast — on the territory of Baikal biosphere reserve, near the village of Tankhoi. Thus, the ecological marathon is held simultaneously on the territory of two regions — Irkutsk region and Buryat Republic.
For several hours the volunteers collected 400 bags of trash and about a ton of scrap metal. All the garbage (aluminum cans, plastic bottles, glass and scrap iron) will be sent for recycling or disposed of in a special way.
